AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! WHAT TO DO THIS FRIDAY???

After Cameron's Live Sessions from 7-9pm on WSBF (88.1), Calculator and Such Mad Hope will be playing at R3MIX3D for FREE starting at 11pm.

Upgrade for your ears

Our online streaming just improved. We still multicast our low quality stream at 96 kbps, but have increased our high quality stream from 128 to 192 kbps.

Rocky Horror; back again

THIS FRIDAY! The Rocky Horror Picture Show is BACK!
Last Halloween was such a great success we decided to do it again, so come out, dress up, and get ready to get down!
8pm in McKissick Theatre.

HELPFUL HINTS
1. Definition: Virgin = means someone who has never experienced the cult classic, Rocky Horror, in a theater at midnight with a cast and audience participation. (so, yeah we don't have a cast and it's not midnight, but we'll still "pop your cherry")
2. If you're still a virgin, or a newbie, and don't know any call-back lines. Here's the 2 you can remember. Anytime you hear "Brad Majors" you yell "ASSHOLE!" and anytime you hear "Janet Weisse" you yell "SLUT!"
3. If you dress the part, we'll love you forever. ;)

Don't forget Open Mic Nights are still going on, every Thursday, downtown at Spill the Beans from 8 till 10pm.

MONDAY MELANCHOLY was such a great success that we're bringing it back.
You heard correctly, every Saturday from 7-9 will be WSBF's own Loveline inspired talk show with Travis Anderson, Zach Musgrave, Karen Greene, and more guest panelists.

As a result the rotating specialty show slot has been moved to 5-7 on Saturdays.
This Saturday Remy Watts will be doing Noize, and next Saturday David Ballou presents Of Montreal VS B.C.

This Wednesday (Feb 10th), come see us out on the Library bridge for some xoxo GOOD LUVIN from your favorite radio station, WSBF FM Clemson. We'll be out there from 10:30 till 2, givin out candy and love.


Saturday, February 13th is Melancholy Monday, only on a Saturday. This Rotating Specialty Show (7-9 pm on a Saturday) is a "Loveline" inspired show hosted by WSBF's own, Travis Anderson. For this to work, we NEED participation! Please listen and call in while the show is going with your questions. (Serious callers only!). Callers can remain anonymous! So don't be intimidated to have your voice heard.
Full cast is TBA. If you want to send in questions by text ahead of time, feel free to do so by e-mailing news@wsbf.net
Live calls are preferred, but message it if you aren't comfortable calling in.

Hey, hey, open mic is BACK! Still every Thursday, but now starting at the wonderful time of 8pm, at Spill the Beans in downtown Clemson (if you don't know how to get there, it's next to Paradise Cigars and on the street behind Nick's and Todaro's etc).

We'll be out there every week from 8-10 with equipment set up so you can play guitar, sing, read poetry, etc.

“From Notes To Novas” - Spring Concert Series

On April 4th, 2009, WSBF will be putting on a free music festival for all who want to join. The event will start at 11am and end by 12am at Tiger Park. The bands will begin at 3pm and last until the end of the night. The concert will be hosting art and food vendors so come hungry and ready to have a good time. Also, the festival will be decked in an outer space theme so feel free to dress in futuristic attire.
