Halloween with WSBF

We’ve been having a great time putting out all these shows for you guys, and we love the turn-outs so keep coming and bring friends!
This weekend though we have a non-live-music event. We’re going to be showing the Rocky Horror Picture Show in McKissick theatre (first floor, Hendrix) at 8pm.

This is a crazy cult - classic experience. If you’re not a “virgin” (that means you’ve never been to a midnight showing in a cinema) then you’ll notice we don’t have a shadow cast. But we will have rain. :) And pre-show activities. And lots of fun.
Bring all your friends, it’s going to be a great night. We “see you shiver with antici…..pation!”
Then coming up in November:
11/13- Bathory Boys, Population Contol, Sick Sick Sick, You Me and Us, Murder Media, The Ensomnyacs
- @ the Blue Heron
- All Ages
- Free
11/19- Chronicles of the Land Squid
- @ the Den
- Age limits not known yet but I am obviously making all the efforts I can to make this 18+
- Price TBA (Yes, this show is still on!)

BACK-TO-BACK shows!!!

On Monday, October 26th, we’re having a punk show at the Blue Heron. It’s free and all ages, so definitely come out to see YOUNG LIVERS, OK PILOT, and DIRTY TACTICS. These are all punk bands that will just be insane. It’s going to be just like a basement show so get ready to get rowdy!
Then! On the next day, Tuesday the 27th, MASERATI is rolling into town and playing at The Den. This show is 18 and up but it’s free. If you’re a DJ: they have been in rotation before and they put on an amazing show. If you haven’t heard them yet I would suggest you check them out because people will drive from Asheville and Athens just to see these guys.
Then on HALLOWEEN we are having a very special presentation of THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW! This is one crazy cult classic that involved people dressing up, dancing, and yelling at the screen. It’s a really cool experience, and if you’ve been, bring some virgins (”virgins”=you’ve never seen the movie in a movie theater). It’s going to be in McKissick at 8pm on October 31st.

Also in November:
11/13- Bathory Boys, Population Contol, Sick Sick Sick, You Me and Us, Murder Media, The Ensomnyacs
- @ the Blue Heron
- All Ages
- Free

WSBF will be at Spill the Beans every Thursday for Open Mic Nights. Come out and perform or enjoy others.

Spill the Beans is on N Clemson Ave. If you’re walking down College Ave away from campus, turn left on N Clemson and you’ll see it near Paradise cigars. If you pass a church you’ve gone too far. It’s on the opposite side of Sloan.

Summertime Streaming

We have been experiencing problems with our online streaming software over the past few weeks. We are working on getting a solution finished as quickly as possible, and in the meantime we apologize for the inconvenience. Your favorite source of awesome music will be in full health soon. We promise!

Our terrestrial signal, at 88.1 FM in Clemson, is unaffected. Automation should be running around the clock as usual. Sadly, over the summer we have fewer DJs on campus to do shows, but nonetheless, the station soldiers on.
